Help us keep everyone safe.
You don't need an account to tell us about illegal or harmful content or a safety problem on NeighbourPlate.
What to report
- Illegal content or activity, including terrorism, child sexual exploitation and abuse, threats, harassment, fraud and scams.
- A listing, message, review or user that breaches our Terms.
- A food-safety or allergen concern about food sold through NeighbourPlate.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. If you or someone else has had a serious reaction to food, get medical help first, then tell us.
How to report
In the app: use the report option on a listing, a message or a user's profile.
By email: write to support@neighbourplate.com. Please tell us what you saw, where (a link or the cook's and listing's names), when, and how to reach you if we need more. Don't send us anything that is itself illegal.
What happens next
We review every report. Where content is illegal or breaches our Terms, we act swiftly to take it down, and we may warn, suspend or close accounts. We report serious matters to the authorities. Terrorism content, child sexual exploitation and abuse content and other priority illegal content are treated as the most serious and are removed as quickly as we can once we're aware of them.
We also use automated tools, including keyword rules and an AI service, to check messages for abuse, threats, scams and attempts to take payment outside the app. These flag content for action or for review by our team.
If you disagree with a decision
You can complain about how we handled a report, or about a decision on your account or content, by emailing support@neighbourplate.com. We'll look at it again and tell you the outcome. More detail is in our Buyer Terms and Seller Terms.
